A clarification meeting for the Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) procurement tender was held to facilitate the timely supply of high-quality equipment and support the achievement of the Field Target Plan (FTP) within the Integrated Development Project of the Azadegan Shared Oil Field.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Dasht Azadegan Arvand Oil & Gas Development Company (DACO), the clarification meeting was held on 11 May 2026 at DACO headquarters, with the participation of representatives from the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), acting as the Employer, together with representatives from a number of leading equipment suppliers.
The meeting focused on reviewing the technical, commercial, and contractual aspects of the tender prior to the opening of financial proposals. Participants were also briefed on the ongoing development projects managed by PEDEC, while suppliers presented their technical observations and recommendations. Discussions addressed the principal challenges and risks associated with manufacturing and supplying ESP equipment, as well as the contractual and procurement requirements governing this strategic acquisition.
Participants emphasized the importance of selecting optimal procurement solutions under the current sanctions environment, highlighting timely delivery, equipment quality, and the uninterrupted progress of the Azadegan Field Development Project as critical success factors.
The clarification session was organized to enhance transparency throughout the tendering process, strengthen collaboration between the Employer and equipment suppliers, and facilitate the efficient procurement of critical equipment required for the successful implementation of the project.
