The meeting provided an opportunity to examine the latest project achievements, implementation initiatives, and strategic requirements for expediting the development of the Azadegan Shared Oil Field. During the session, the CEO of DACO Group announced that the company has entered a new phase marked by the establishment of a distinct corporate identity and a significant acceleration in its development activities.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of DACO, the strategic meeting, held yesterday with the participation of deputy chief executives and senior executives of Dasht Azadegan Arvand Oil & Gas Development Company (DAOGC), focused on achieving the objectives of the Field Target Plan (FTP) as one of the Company's highest strategic priorities in the development of the Azadegan Shared Oil Field.
At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Kouti, Member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Dasht Azadegan Oil & Gas Operating Company, presented a report on his recent field inspection of oil wells in the Azadegan Field. Emphasizing the importance of technical synergy, he proposed organizing joint technical sessions with the specialized departments of Arvandan Oil & Gas Company to strengthen cooperation and accelerate operational progress.
Subsequently, Engineer Tahmasbi, CEO of Integrated Development Company of the Dasht Azadegan Field, reviewed his previous experience as Deputy Engineering Director of DACO and expressed confidence that, through effective planning and the collective commitment of the organization, the FTP objectives could be achieved ahead of schedule.
Dr. Janati, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO for Finance of DACO Group, outlined the measures taken to secure financial resources and highlighted the Company's policy of converting local-currency resources into foreign-currency funding as one of the cornerstones of its financial strategy for achieving its development objectives.
Mohammad Narimsazad, Deputy CEO for Support Services and Human Resources of DACO Group, presented a report on the activities of his division, referring to the significant number of procurement tenders conducted, bid-opening procedures completed, the outfitting of DACO's new headquarters, the establishment of the Ahvaz residential and administrative camp, and the finalization of arrangements for the Company's dedicated guesthouse.
During the meeting, Hedayatollah Derakhshandeh, CEO of Dasht Azadegan Non-Industrial Operations Company, announced the Company's full readiness to actively support both the SPV and IFO companies. Stressing the importance of utilizing existing capacities and strengthening interdepartmental collaboration, he stated:
"Through comprehensive cooperation and maximum organizational synergy, we can enter the operational execution phase in the shortest possible time and create the necessary conditions for achieving our planned objectives."
The meeting continued with presentations by other deputy chief executives and senior managers, who reviewed the performance of their respective divisions and shared updates on ongoing activities and recent accomplishments. They reaffirmed the Company's collective commitment to advancing its strategic mission and achieving its defined objectives.
In the concluding session, Mahmoud Aminnejad, CEO of DACO Group, expressed his appreciation for the dedication, determination, and exceptional commitment demonstrated by employees in carrying out the Company's specialized missions. He stated:
"The pace and quality of activities across all areas—from procurement and workforce recruitment to technical and executive operations—have improved significantly compared with six months ago. This achievement is, above all, the result of divine blessings and the unwavering efforts of our colleagues, whose work continued uninterrupted even during the most challenging days of the recent conflict in Esfand and Farvardin. Timely development of this field, particularly under the current post-conflict conditions, can play a decisive role in increasing the country's foreign currency revenues and improving public welfare."
Referring to the recent transformation of the Company's management structure, Aminnejad added:
"We have established a genuine corporate identity for Dasht Azadegan Arvand Oil & Gas Development Company. Today, this identity is clearly reflected in the growing confidence and constructive engagement of government institutions, banks, and shareholders with DACO's new management team."
Highlighting the strategic importance of the Azadegan Field, he noted that the damages sustained by the country's foreign currency-generating industries have further increased the significance of the project's development.
"Under the current circumstances, one of the most reliable and sustainable sources of foreign currency revenue for the country is the accelerated development and maximum production from this shared oil field."
Concluding his remarks, the CEO emphasized the urgent need to accelerate the operational activation of Dasht Azadegan Non-Industrial Operations Company, finalize procurement packages for both surface and subsurface equipment, prioritize contract awards to domestic manufacturers, and meet industrial requirements through direct, intermediary-free cooperation with Chinese contractors. He described these measures as essential prerequisites for accelerating the implementation of the FTP and advancing the development of the Azadegan Shared Oil Field.
