According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of DACO, the project Kick-Off Meeting for the reprocessing of seismic data from the Azadegan Oil Field was held on 13 May 2026 at DACO headquarters. The meeting was attended by technical and executive representatives from DACO's Upstream Management Division, along with representatives of Dana Geophysics Kish Company (DGC).
The meeting followed the selection of DGC as the successful bidder for the project and focused on reviewing the technical and implementation aspects of the contract. Discussions covered the Employer's expectations regarding the outcomes of the seismic data reprocessing program, project execution requirements, including the scope of work, allocation of responsibilities, reporting procedures, technical documentation, as well as contractual and legal considerations.
According to the agreed implementation schedule, the contract is expected to be finalized during the coming week, enabling project execution to commence at the earliest opportunity.
The seismic data reprocessing project has been defined within the framework of the Field Target Plan (FTP) and will be implemented in cooperation with a Russian company serving as the project's subcontractor.
The project's results are expected to make a significant contribution to the integrated development of the Azadegan Oil Field by updating seismic interpretation studies and providing improved input for the revision of both the static and dynamic reservoir models, thereby supporting more accurate reservoir characterization and future field development planning.
